Sandpoint has partnered with OpenGov to provide our residents and stakeholders with this Financial Transparency Portal. The portal is designed to bring visibility, openness, and accountability to our operations.
Sandpoint voters overwhelmingly approved a 5-year 1% Local Option Sales Tax (2016-2020) to support a new grandstand and other improvements at War Memorial Field.
We are leveraging financial and performance data across all of our City departments and functions to drive and monitor accountability and improve our service outcomes to the community.
This initiative was launched in response to the strategic priorities identified by the 2017 City Council and Mayor Shelby Rognstad in a joint report, "Aligning for Impact," produced in April, 2017.
